18" V.S Cruise Control

Hey all, I have seen on a couple of places where people have stated having issues with their cruise control working properly after installing 18" wheels, but it doesn't seem to be a common thread. Have any of you had this problem? If so, is it simply down to the difference in diameter? Im curious since the difference in diameter between stock 195/65/15 and 245/35/18 (for example) is less than 1%. Anyone have this issue with

i never thought about this, when i go home after work i'll test out the cruise control, im running front 18x8.5 and rear 18x10 with 235/40s all around...i'll let u know what i find out

i've had 18s and cruise control works fine... maybe the problem is that the wheel diameter is slightly bigger/smaller than the original so it makes the rotation of the wheel faster/slower hence the discrepancies on the speedometer.. i have an app on my phone that says your speed in correlation to the gps satellite and mine are accurate...

Yep there will be some discrepancy with the speedo, but the speedo will still work, and I think its only off by one or two mph's...which is why I thought cruise control being affected was odd. Anywho, I'm thinking there was another issue with the cruise other than just the wheel upgrade

Never heard of this issue. Plus, cruise control works fine on my C43 with 18"
