folding seats as an option. my 94 C280 has it, 95 C280 doesn't, 99 C43 has it.

if you're talking about the seat backs, it was an option and comes with ski bags so you can store your skis in the trunk with part of skis sticking out of the arm rest.
I don't have this option.

From time to time in ebay.de (german ebay) you will come across a set of OEM HID headlight housing. I found a set this way.
With non HID lens, the light pattern comes out scattered therefore it's so horrible and blinds oncoming drivers as well as those you follow.
I installed aftermarket HID lights with 8000K rating. Looking back I wish I just went with 6000K to make it look more OEM.
The next mod I have in mind is to change the fogs to HID or LED. It's just so hard to get those bulbs off from the foglight housing when it's installed.

You should also make a list of maintenance items that is essential to the car since you may not have a service history, such as tranny fluid flush,
brake fluid flush and coolant flush. Brake and Coolant flush are easy DIY. Tranny flush can be done by an indie.
But I know you have more pressing issues with the CEL on.

nice. Be careful using such a big amp that speaker is only 250watts RMS I used to have the same one. and was giving it the max RMS it could handle and it wasnt loud enough. got rid of it for a p2 that is slightly louder but not much. LOL.

the gain on the amp is almost all the way down and I already think its too loud as it is, it knocks pretty hard I got the sub and the box for $20
It fit perfect and I already had the amp which I be bought for 40 so yeah I get pretty lucky some times

back and forth from the shop to my car switched 8k to 6k different brands i tried it all, back and forth from the store to the store parking lot to try out the lights back to the store at least 5 times
