I will be receiving my AMG mono this Tuesday so I'm shopping around for tires to put on it.
I have my decided to get Bridgestone Potenza RE760 from Costco. My favorite supplier in Milpitas will not
match Costco's price so off to Costco I go.

My C230 is lowered on Eibach sport springs with Bilstein Sport shocks. My current set up is 17" and
not really drastically low. Very comfortable ride on long cruise and when needed, it can keep up on twists and turns.
According to my research from other forums I should be getting this tire set up:

Front: 225/40 18
Rear: 255/35 18

Anyone have different advise?

The AMG monos are 8" x 18 ET31 front, 9" x 18 ET34 rears. They definitely need a lot of work so I will need to
get going once I get it. Bought this set from a Benzworld member.

also 225/40 fronts and 245/40 for rears is not that bad..

Wouldn't 245/40 cause rubbing? In addition overall diameter will be 1" bigger.
I read this in MBWorld that's why I said 255/35 for the rear is ideal.

you can have the center caps. I'll hang on to it until we have a meet. It doesn't occupy a lot of garage space. Only shelf space.

The 225/40/18 front 255/35/18 is what I'm mounting on 8.5 front and 9.5 wide rear. Your could get away with a 215/40 in front.

If you're not looking to be 'flush'... The 225/40/18's and 255/35/18's sounds perfect. I'd use those tires if I wasn't planning on using spacers. If you plan to space em out. Go with a size down. 215/40's and 245/35's. They should be in-spec and won't throw off your speedo. Don't take my word on it thought :P

They are Bridgestone Potenza RE760. This is the 2nd time I bought tires from them. It's practically overnight shipping for free. I just ordered it online yesterday.

edit: front is $147 each. Rear is $182 each. Including shipping, total came out to $700. Not bad.

Bottom line, this will turn out to be very expensive after I get all these together. I'm having my favorite shop in Milpitas install them for me. Cost is $120 + $80 alignment.
