I'm going to lower the car in a few days and had a few questions about how to remove the front springs. I've done the "search" and those who has done it required the Mercedes type spring compressor. My question is can I do this with the floor jack. As in, use the jack to compress it, then release the pressure slowly to release it? has anyone gone this route? How safe is it? I know there is some risk involved but just how risky is too risky? I plan on R&R (remove and reinstall) till I get the height I want. So it might take a few days at the most. Oh one more thing, front camber kit? I know there's a few on here who are practically sitting on the ground. How did you go about fixing the camber? Yes, KMAC I know but other options please. Input and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you can undo the LCA and take the spring out from there... a bit tricky if doing it alone still recommend using spring compressors as it does the job safer and quicker...
regarding the camber arms theres a lot out there... there's also the DIY camber kit for around 100 bucks...

Safety first. Use a spring compressor especially for the front. If you've got O'Reilly's close to you they have spring compressors you can rent. It's not K-Lan but it's better than nothing.

Are you talking about the two clamps that go on the side or do they really have an MB compressor?
