Hi , i have a W202 from 2000 ,break, Esprit model. Can you give some ideas how to increse my performance but to keep the fuel consuption the same? :D

only way I can think of is removing weight
and alot of it
other ways could be lighter rims, making sure tyres are at the right pressure, etc.etc.

fill tires with nitrogen at a tire shop. look into intake and exhaust options. you'll never see big improvements, but all put together will make a noticeable increase.

If you want real gains you need to put a turbo on it. Fuel consumption will go up though but that's how it is when you want to go fast. You can also strip weight out of the car but that would make it harder to live with and lose refinement. If you do both you will see the best performance overall but it will use a lot of fuel and wont be all that refined either.
