moon roof conversion

i have a sun roof. is the moon roof just a quick bolt on? how about the interior shade? do i need to replace my whole headliner? i saw one at the junkyard with the glass already taken off from the body.. so i was thinking if i could do a quick exchange or if i needed to change my headliner as well...

moon roof is one where one has glass instead of metal to let light through, but it also slides around like a sun roof.
the sun roof is metal (sometimes glass)

Hmm. Ive never seen just metal. Weird. Why wouldnt they just put glass on all of them? Whats the purpose of a moon roof?

A moon roof is the glass one, allows you to have the cover open to let light in with the roof closed still
the sun roof just lets you vent air and open it up like a normal window

My car came with glass, I changed to metal out of necessity from a badly broken/leaking glass roof. It's a relatively easy swap. You only need the roof panel itself, and the 2 brackets that it bolts to in the front. Those brackets then bolt to the sliding assembly.

I'm going from memory here. So, I think.
