Just wondering if anyone is interested in these custom brake caliper brackets for the SLK55 AMG front 6 piston calipers?
The brake part numbers are as follows:

Left front caliper 003-420-47-83
Right front caliper 003-420-48-83
Pads 004-420-50-20
Rotors 171-421-01-12 x 2

Just a side note: these calipers are the smaller 6 piston calipers that will clear 17" wheels.

The custom brackets I had machined were to fit the calipers onto the front spindle assembly as they will not clear the sway bar mounting bracket when steering.
The brackets wont be very cheap, but its the most professional and safest solution to the problem of installing larger factory brakes.
Please let me know if anyone is interested.
Cost will be $1000 for a pair of brackets (left and right brackets only) + shipping. I know they are not cheap, but my machinist did an amazing job with these.

Wow, i do see how it cost $1000. 8 hours of machining plus material cost. But seeing even the c36 brakes will hold up with track work and if they dont c32 will swapping the calipers in the brackets, so i dont really see the point?

They look great tho

So does this mean that the SLK55AMG upgraded brakes for 18" wheels may be able to clear the mounts without any modification?

Its a completely different caliper, I'm not sure if the SLK55 performance package brakes would work with this bracket.

I don't think you'll get any takers at that price.

Dont really care if I do or dont, the option is there if someone wants to run an AMG caliper on a w202 though.
I did it cause I wanted to be different, I wanted something OEM. and its still hella cheaper than any Brembo kit out there.. and its still made by Brembo!

Slightly related: did you also get the rear brakes from an SLK55?

great upgrade! I wish i needed the 6 pot but my 4 pot c32 brakes are good enough for me. Otherwise i would definitely get some brackets off of you.

The picture of the rotor looks like a ceramic disc, but I know it can't be. Whats with those bolts around the edge. Can you take the outer part off of the hub part?

Its a 2 piece floating rotor.. so the hub and outer rotor can be separated. its a way for saving weight as the hub and rotor can be made out of 2 different materials and bolted together.

I assume the hub is steel so unless the rotor is ceramic, it's steel too. Where is the weight savings, especially when you add in the weight of all those bolts.

What did you do, or what would someone else do to have to try and make a rear brake setup match....and also how did this setup affect the master cylinder volume (ie pedal ratio)?

its hard to say for sure as I didnt have to buy some of the parts.
the brake calipers I got from parts.com I believe, they were around $2000 for all 4 calipers. the brake discs I already had and got for free.. so a huge savings there. and I think pads ran me $250-300 for front and rear, plus the $1000 custom brackets. rotors would probably be another $1000-1500 depending on where you got them. if you had to buy everything new it would cost a lot. which is why is was so cheap for me. luckily I saved a lot by already having rotors. pads I got from a jobber fo about half the price of the dealer.I spent about $3000-3300 for everything and had myself a front and rear kit.

Well seeing even the c36 braking system will it keep up with monitor perform and if they don't c32 will changing the calipers in the supports, so i don't really see the main thing . . . . . . . .

These are a must if your gonna track your car.... C36 brakes suck, C32 brakes are good for half a lap before they fade.
