I'm going to be doing a coolant flush/change on my 1999 C280 this weekend. Is it as simple as pulling the lower radiator hose to drain it, then add coolant to the reservoir? Based on prior experiences with cars, I take I have to turn the heater to hot and start the car?

Are there any other special procedures I'm missing for these cars?

You've pretty much covered it.

You can add all the coolant through the overflow reservoir instead of disconnecting the upper hose and adding there? Are there any concerns about trapped air?
