Thanks , its a June of 1996. The side skirts are OEM face lift. they were a direct swap. Rieger lip on the pre face lift bumper and just color matched the rear skirt for now.

Looks Awesome! This car is proof that when w202's are stanced right they can look incredible. Is the law the only thing stopping you from front tints? I feel like they would really work well.

+1 I'm with you on this one: 18" AMGs sitting around for over a year and they haven't been doing much else

Did you have to grind down the door handles to accommodate for the extra layers of paint that went on?

yup with the correct tabs the skirts were a direct fit. No modification needed.

Nope no grinding of the door handles. just a 400 grit sand over the black plastic and then adhesion promoter. primer. base. clear. oh. Had to remove the chrome trim on the upper part of the door handle as well.

pretty much the only thing keeping me from tinting the fronts is the law. yes. But then again I have a straight pipe exhaust which is technically just as illegal as having my fronts tinted.

Looks awesome! What a change! The black molding is a nice touch too and those wheels fit the car so nicely. What lip do you have on the front bumper?

It WAS a Rieger lip. Now its just a bunch a pieces of ABS plastic zip tied together that needs to be torn off and recycled  Haha They never sold any W202's stateside with the "esprit" trim or black moldings, normally just an overseas thing. I used to have the amber(all orange) front AND rear taillights to match for the complete "esprit" or 1994 look. but im slowly starting to transition back towards the "elegance" look especially since I have gotten the face lift side skirts. time to track down face lifted bumpers. and new chrome trim. Thinking of color matching the black now.
