I think they're called the 'bad boy' bonnet over here in the UK.. typically a 'good look' on peugeot 106, citroen saxos, bmw e36, etc etc. Others started doing this mod themselves after finding out how expensive it actually is to obtain one... Any UK here could confirm this?
