How do I fix this, I keep having to disconnect the battery everytime I stop using the car and re connect it when I want to use it

I think it should be one of your door sensors, is the inside light set to light up when you open the door, does it stay on even when your doors are closed ? if not I think you have some serious electrical issues after reading your other posts (immobilizer),
the cluster stays on only in 2 conditions :
1- the key is in they hole on position 2 and 3
2- the door is open (but it should shot down after a while even with the door open)
now since you have trouble with your car alarm sys I think its related.
I wish you good luck tho.

Congrats on getting it sorted. So what ended up being the culprit?

It was door related, after I installed the new door handle and put the door panel back on and connected everything back together it went away

Bravo, good sir. I keep coming across your threads and can tell you're slowly restoring a gorgeous C36. I'm jealous!

Yeah next on the list is EGR and front AMG bumper filler insert thing that goes next to the driverside fog lamp, c36 emblem, and powder coat the rims back to original smooth state
