Hello all,

I am in the process of installing a boost/vac on my c230k. I know that for best measurements, it's suggested I tap the FPR lines on the back of the intake manifold. I can see a white line and a black line right next to each other. Does it matter which one I tap if they are both connected to the mani? I know the black line goes to the FPR on front of the fuel rail, which seems like it would give the most accurate reading.

Secondly and more importantly,

Once I tap the line, I don't know where to run the boost line into the cabin. Research shows that there's a grommet I can use located next to the brake booster, but I can't seem to find any entry into the cabin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I know the grommit is to the left of the fuse box on the driver's side of the car, I used a flashlight to shine down in there then popped it off with a screwdriver lol Not sure on the other pieces to your puzzle though

There are grommits on either fuse box on either side of the engine bay,you can access the cabin through both fuse box's. the one containing the ECU has the grommits on the lower portion of it you might want to remove the ECU and upper housing to access them easily.

Using the FRP line should be fine, the gauge will use very little flow so should not delay the FRP. Not sure what the other line going into the cab is but if it has more pressure drop you might not get as accurate readings off that one.
