I have a 99 c230k that I just put a a new belt on and was wondering if anyone knows what the timing is supposed to be for this model or where I should atleast start at. Right now its about 6 or 7 + top dead center.

Doesn't sound right. do not drive it before you get the correct timing.

Ok found it...My C230K is 20 degree ATDC with cam locks in place. Very important - MAKE SURE INTAKE ADVANCE IS SET TO RETARDED.

Make sure you do the crank pully up to no less than 200Nm.
