W202 DIY Repairs

Got a 202 and yet do any DIY repairs. How difficult are the DIY repairs? Thanks. Just need know to know for future reference.

Not too difficult. I did nearly every repair imaginable on my 94 C280, and I had never fixed a car before (I got it when I was 16)

What specific DIY repairs are you looking for?

There are quite a few DIY posted on this site, from simple to complex. Although I haven't seen one for complete engine or transmission rebuild.

Personally, I did the spark plugs, oil changes, valve cover gasket, and coolant flush myself. Preventative maintenance isn't that bad.

Do the head gasket on an M104 and you can pretty much do anything on a w202.

Next up for me is engine swap on my C43 using the 5.4l from an E55/S55/CLK55/ML55. Should be even easier than the head gasket, since I already have an engine hoist.
