i got a code on my 00 c230 komp. p0170 Fuel trim malf. bank 1.

That would be Mass Air Flow sensor, I got the same on my 99 Kompressor after a while

May not be MAF. Check the pipe work and make sure that there isn't no leak. Also, check the connection to the throttle body on the air box and make sure the connector is still on.

cleaned mass!!after awhile code came back should i clean mass again?

MAF cleaning helps but it is not 100% effective. Your MAF is probably nearing its end. If you have check vacuum leak is non existent then replace your Mass Airflow sensor (MAF).

Wouldn't run out the door just yet and plunk down big $$ for a new MAF. Had this code a couple of times with my MBs. One time it
turned out to be a vacuum leak the other a clogged EGR tube.

thanks guys..i looked today at MAS and it was dirty also i noticed oily tubes inside..
