When I bought my c280 back in December it had a slight belt squeal so I replace the belt but before long it started again but not as bad so I figured it would be ok,up until a little over a week ago it was ok until our move from Panama City FL to Ocoee fl and that's when it sounded like hell broke loose,started making a bumping,squealing and grinding sound,to make a long story short I found out the fan clutch bearing was going bad so I ordered a new one off eBay for $60 and it came just in time,when I took the belt off the whole fan clutch and bearing fell completely off.Thank god I got it when I did or I would have been s.o.l. If anyone needs any instructions on how to replace that bearing I can help.
