I'm trying to replace the tie rod assembly on my 95 c280. My pickle fork worked on the outer tie rod ends but not enough room to get a good hit on the inners. I bought a 3 prong gear puller and a two prong gear puller but there's not enough room in the engine bay to get a ratchet or wrench to turn the puller screw. How are you guys removing the inner tie rods? I could really use a hand with this. Been working on since Friday night and need to get it road worthy by Sunday. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I watched that vid a few times before I stared the project, that's why I figured the pickle fork would work. That guy's production is so raw it's cool. He didn't really show how he got the left (driver) side inner off though. I removed the idler arm attached to the passenger side until I get the whole thing out, then I'll use a puller on that side. I removed the windshield washer bottle for more space on the drivers side of the engine bay. After a break I'll try the puller again. I think if I turn the wheel towards the right I might be able to get at it.

Anyone else have any suggestions or info on how you did this job?
Thanks again.
J.
