CD Player skips over bumps?

Hello,
I recelntly bought a c43, my cd changer was not working, i had one laying around off my old clk320, it worked but now every time i go over a bump it skips. Does this happen to everyones or just mine?

cd changer might skip sometimes but that's not often depends on if tarmac is uneven and bouncy.
if yours does it often then something might be wrong with it?

min does it sometimes on the autobahn at 200(kmh)+ but very rarely

Did you put it in a spot that would absorb a lot of vibration?

Im thinking its from my car being lowered on 19s. Im getting my 18s installed today hopefully that fixes the problem. Also, if that does not work im going to add extra cusions around the changer.

today i put on my new rims and it fixed the skipping problem, only on harsh bumps it skips

I'm not sure how the CD player is supposed to mount in the trunk because I hardly ever used it and don't need it anymore, but I remember the bracket that held it had rubber plugs on it to absorb shock. Some kind of solution like this may solve your problem completely.
