Thanks for your response Cameron, so far the paint job is what is costing the most, lowest cost is $1800.00 something about having to match/blend color....??? One body shop said they would repair radiador support/headlight bucket and fender support for $350.00 if I did all the installing of parts...I guess I need to start studying auto repair and bodyshop/painting....LOL

on a car as old as a 202 you are better off respraying the whole car to factory then just touching it up.

I work for Beverly Coachcraft, Inc. in West L.A. (Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills and W.I. Simonson's Official MB collision center), i would guess the repair like this goes somewhere around $7000 to $9000 with parts and labor included (labor at $50 for Body, $50 for paint. (that is OEM NEW parts). If i were you, if you say mileage is low, go to a Salvage yard and buy a Used Hood assembly, bumper assembly and left fender assembly, most you could spend is $300, make sure it has not been re-sprayed before and while you are at it, buy the core support (That is if the front end of the used car has no been damaged). You will save lots of money. You would have to sand down to factory primer or at least if you know it has not been repainted you can re-sand the clear and paint / color match the complete front end (hood, bumper, fenders) just blend in the right fender or paint it all together to make if look real good.
