Grey C220 and MATTE : grill bonet badges and rims?

yes that could be a way, keep in mind you need to lower the car to complete the look. maybe some lighting mods? headlight xenon tail LED?

If you have one of the rare grey W202s I would NOT change the paint color or finish unless you were going to make it glossier. The only things I would possibly make matte are the grille, wheels, maybe even add-ons like a roof spoiler. The car definitely need lowering springs with new wheels as well and any parts you'd like to add with that like camber arms and different sized spring pads.
