face lift w210 mirrors

Can anyone please tell me if this mirrors are a direct fit for the w202, w/out any modification? I was one of 50 other cars and trucks that got vandalized over the weekend....broken glass and mirrors all around.....talk about upset....:(:crybaby2:

The w210 mirrors physically bolt right up using the same holes in the door. The wiring plugs do not match....not even close and you need considerable modification. So the answer to your question is no, the w210 mirrors are not a direct swap.

I forgot to mention that if you do go for the w210 upgrade and use secondhand mirrors, make sure the gaskets are in good order as they are not available separately.
