Hi everyone

I have a C230 kOMPRESSOR W202 (Sport package) and I want to order via Internet (Auto Class or Tire Rack) AMG Monoblock II 18" rims (like pnsji´s) and Id to know what rims size you suggest:
18x8 front
18x9 rear
or 18x8.5

I need to know the exact measure because since this is ordered via Internet I cant be wrong, so what measure do you suggest?

Also I want to know what tire size do you suggest?

Pnsji please tell me your tire size and mono rims size, can fit on my w202 c230k???

Tanx everybody :D

YEs they can fit, but if you lower your car that might be a problem sort of.

If you're not too concern about being able to rotate the tires.

then go for staggered setup. 18x8 front and 18x9 rear.

Otherwise go for 18x8.5 all around.

Here is my car with
18x8 ET31 225/40/18 PZero Nero
18x9 ET35 255/35/18 PZero Nero

The car is lowered with H&R sport spring and Koni Yellow Adjustable shock

The above setup will also fit on any w202 chassis, but you would need to rolled the fender on the front for non-AMG\ cars..

All C36's and C43's already have their front and rear fender lip rolled from the factory, but non-AMG only have the rear rolled.

Hope this helps ;)

J replied perfectly

go with staggered if you don't mind not being able to rotate front/rear

and roll your front fenders:)

Tanx, your replies helped a lot.

But is there a setup where a front fender rolled lip is not needed?

If not, How can I do this? is it a lot of work? Can I do this at the MB agency?

Tanx a lot

PD. I want to lower my car.
:)

you are not gonna need to roll you fenders if you get 18x8 wheels, that is what i have and they dont need rolling

tANX eLVIR,

So you suggest 18x8 front
18x9 rear

or you mean 18x8 all around?

Just for further information

If you want to lowered as low as I did, or pretty close I would definitely rolled the front fender lip.

The problem is when you have dip on the road and the wheel started to tuck in , that when yours tire will rub with the fender inner lip... ;)

Believe me when it comes to fender rubbing you don't want to learn the hard way. Because when you fucked it up, the cost would be $$$ later.. :D:D:D

I would also recommend to fit the max 8.5 width on the front and no wider...

if you go any wider than 8.5" on the front you will start rubbing on the inside, steering knuckle, rubbing when the wheel is turning direction etc....

The rear on the other had can go as wide as 10" but if it were my car I would only fit 9.5" max on the rear , as I like to drive aggressively sometime

8.5 with 225/40/18 would be great..

boy I missed this one.

My setup is like J Irwan.
18x8 and 18x9(Rear).

My Observation is that in the front, the right side will have rubbing problem when lowered.
Looks like the left fender and the right fender is not EXACTLY identical.

Just use rubber hammer, hit it slowly till the inside of the fender fold nicely.
