So I was out of town visiting a friend for a few days, and in the past I've had some locking issues with my car (which were recently fixed). I got inside my car to hit the trunk pop button, and I could definitely hear the mechanicl/motorized action happening...but the trunk just stayed shut.
Same issue when I went to the back of the trunk and pushed in with the key to open it...it would push in but not open. I could also lock and unlock it from the trunk lock, not no go to open it.
This frustrated me horribly. Fortunately, I didn't have anything stuck in the trunk but I bought some things while I was out of town. I literally had to play a 1980's version of "Back Seat Tetris" complete with 8 bit music in order to get everything home... And the drive home was interesting at best because I couldn't see behind me.
I'd like to see if there a solution I can do in the morning that's DIY. If not, I guess I'm going to have to take it to my mechanic.
