After some long and hard thought, and even after blacking out the super tacky "ebay sport grille" with the HUGE emblem in the center to try and make it look less "bling" and more aggressive....I decided it was time to chuck it....
...now I had actually purchased this AMG-style grille insert thingy off eBay right before I got the "sport logo grille", but at first and being a total n00b I didn't realize you had to reuse your stock grille bezel surround to make it fit.
Finally figuring it out, I took my stock grille I had on the car....removed the severely worn out egg crate insert, slowly convinced it in, screwed it down to the stainless bezel at the bottom, and took a hell of a lot of rubbing compound on the stainless steel surround to make it look showroom new.
I like it so much, I'm actually deciding to go back to running a brand new hood emblem I ordered today versus the delete cap I have on now.
Also trying to stick to the "Euro-Sport" look, I custom ordered a German EU plate. It's got a Mercedes Benz Euro Frame, "JENZ BENZ" lettering (Jenz is an acronym I made a long time ago for my last name, Jensen) and the registration seals I had them put on are from the Berlin reigon.
These are also better shots of the euro amber corners.
Do you guys think this is a big improvement over what I had before? Yes? No? I think it's personally more grown up and more euro like I want.

This was my old grille I blacked out with automotive outdoor vinyl blackout tape, for reference:
