I found great deal on ebay for these 18x8 rims, but I'm not sure if they will fit... they say SL, has anyone had experience with same zire rims?

info on them: 18x8, 5-112 +23mm offset

http://www.eurotechwheels.com/polishfront.jpg

also here they are on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43958&item=2439509202#ebayphotohosting

also, I realize that my car will mostlikely look like an SUV without lowering it, but do u think I'll have rubbing problems with H&R (not the cup kit) and probably the tallest pad I can get (I don't like cars lowered too much)....

also any recomedations on tire size?

You may be able to get them to fit if you really want them to, but you might find it not worth the effort to shave them. Turboturtle from a while back used to have SL 2pc wheels on his C36, and I know it was quite a bit of effort to get them to fit.

Then again, I'm not an expert on wheel fitment, so I think I'll defer to other members for the final word.

As it is,(without doing any modification)

it won't fit your w202 properly..

since the offset is too low (especially for the front wheel), so it will stick out from the fender
and If you lowered the car it will rub the front fender pretty bad.

But as Renn208 said if you persistence, you could shave the back of the wheel so that the offset will be higher , that way it won't stick-out of fender.

However you'd probably need to shave at least off this wheel in order to propertly fit it on your car.

as you can see on the pic below(I am running 18x8 ET 31 on the front and the gap is already at minimal.
http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SwAAAFUVDwEh7qeC7tjtvbxdo7DAfSvdk5da0kEFhcTITCai1 YS9LE4rd!1ROxwGC!XQS2oiBy6yuT4*qcRHBb5svRHvq*c0X3w iigM04!IJHG0JmN2YLw/107-0755_IMG.JPG

so if the wheel have ET23 that means it will stick out more about 8mm from my pic above...
You should get the idea.. :)

okey... so am I looking for +38mm offset?

if so, will 18x7.5 front and 18x8.5 in the rear work then?

like these:

35mm offset is what is suppose to be put on our c-classes, i think anything different wont fit right.

Actually that setup is also fine(as stock C36, C43 and CLK55(w208) came with 17x7.5/17x8.5), as the key on wheel fitment that most people forgot is the rim-width itself and the offset

Here is EurosportAMG car which has the new E55 AMG style wheel(similar style)
Except the wheel on this C36 is 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 as opposed 18x8/18x9 on the new E55.

Wow nice..this wheel does looks good on W202

I am sure this C class have the wheels with the right offset.
Probabby 35 or 38.

But if the wheels have offset as stated +23mm, then it would be like in this C Class. (this is actually SL Offset)

Thnx everyone, and that was a VERY good pic of the black (correct me if I'm wrong) benz in mbworld

btw what offset are those and where did u get em?

714 guy, those look good, but will never work with my color, it's that champaign or desert silver color, so I can't really have colored rims imo.
