It was installed in the doors, ceiling, and all pillars.

The thin shiny stuff does a decent job of insulating thermal. It's also good at reducing rattles, if your speakers like to vibrate the interior.

Take it from someone who works with sound daily...The thin stuff is useless for stopping sound! If you're interested in sound proofing you need to go for the thicker foam stuff, the problem is that it doesn't fit in too many places.
I used the thick stuff in a few key areas(where ever it would fit) and I noticed a 2-3 db reduction in overall cabin noise. It's not much but I'm glad I did it because I can turn up my audio and there is no vibrations on any panels.

Dyanmat dampers vibration on the chassis for better ride quality. THink of it like riding a bike on a bad road and the handlebars vibrating- the dynamat is a little like adding shock absorbers to a bicycle. It will reduce and pretty much eliminate in some cases the vibration of the suspension and drivetrain tranmitting through a vehicle. It just gives a more solid and better feel of comfort.

Drawbacks to Dynamat? it is heavy. From a handling stand point, I have used this in another vehicle strategicly to add weight low and centered in the car and truck floorboards to help with weight bias- and mainly to adsd lower chassis weight to reduce the car's positive roll rate (more weight below the lateral center of gravity). this counter acts the upper roll weight of the chassis roller over the cg as the weight of the dynamat helps weight the chassis lower than the cg to counter act it. Thus a slight reduction in swaybar size which also helps in ride quality and handling of independant suspension.

I know this is kind of an off beat unexpected answer- but it leads to food for thought on engineered car builds for performance ahndling values. Every little bit counts when it comes to chassis handling.

It's probably a few less than 25, but you should get extras because the contacts sometimes break when you install them. They're really meant to be installed once and never touched again.

I'm still working on the exterior. It's in nice shape but very stock looking as of right now. I'm planning on putting on AMG bumpers, HID, touch up the paint etc...

Yeah, the thick stuff will make a small difference but don't expect miracles. In order to absorb the lower midrange road noise you need MASS. In other words, you need very thick material like fiberglass(Messy). It really has to be built into the design of the car. There's just not enough room behind the panels in the 202 for that kind of project.

From experience I can tell you that the most naked areas on the 202 are the A and B Pillars, roof, and rear deck. The floor is already very well insulated. If you go for the naked areas you'll notice a small difference.
