Hey guys, quick question do you think plasti-dipping the gray/chrome trim matte black would look nice or out of place on my black car? I'm contemplating it cause I've been trying to get rid of the gray/chrome without paying $1100 to paint them professionally.

Ditto. For Like 25 bucks in paint and masking materials I turned my car from ugly luxury boat to stealth euro cruiser! Still gotta do the back bumper to finish it though.

Funny we thought about doing this at the same time, I saw your thread and liked what I saw, I think it can be pulled off on a real clean black car, and even if we get sick of it it's easily reversible! I think I'm gonna go for it in the spring and finally get rid of that hideous gray/chrome trim once and for all.

who wants $1100 to paint your trim ? Thats insane. most shops around here ( California) Only quoted me like $150-200 to spray the gray trim color matched.
