I'm planning on retrofitting some yellow fogs from another car, and so I can see what I am up against for clearance and where I can mount them...I need to take the front bumper totally off. After talking with forum member Chris and some BMW guys at a meet tonight, I have decided not to mount them in the spoiler vents. My rationale is because Mercedes Benz designed those vents most likely to cool the brakes, and blocking them is not gonna be good.

I am going to probably cut or drill a hole just large enough to mount them right around next to the inner sides of the spoiler vents. This way they're in the same general area and don't look too out of place.

Just hope I have room is all! Chris has a friend who can do the custom install, so if it's super complicated to remove the front bumper I might just pay to have it done...but we'll see.

Don;t worry about those being functional brake vents. It will make no difference on brake heat. You do not have any ducts running to the backsides of the rotors as well as no fabricated sheilding. It is completely cosmetic

Also, the front bumper should be cake to remove. It is mainly slip fit. I can take pics of my Brabus front bumper sitting in the garage tomorrow if you need a visual on the backside of it.

Its four bolts. 13mm two behind the grill , Two behind the lower bumper plastic grills that pop out. And whatever plastic attaches the fender liner to the bumper. Mine doesnt have any so its the 4 bolts and pull the bumper off. I take the bumpers on and off of this car so much Ive contemplated making them quick release. Before I had this fake ebay brand C36 lip I had an authentic rieger that literally touched the ground everywhere. I used to have to remove the bumper to get in and out of the garage.
