trunk accident

Well a few months ago I got into a small accident that left my rear frame bent in just enough that my trunk won't latch anymore. I rolled around with bungie cords holding it closed until a neighbor helpd me out and we used some pliers and bent something onthe trunk latch so it would latch on to the bottom part and it was fixed! Until the other day I was talking with a friend and all of a sudden my trunk opened and it hasn't been able to shut since....back to the bungie cords.. so I was wonderinf if anyone has any advice on how to go about fixing this until I can take it to actually get it repaired. I will post pictures a little later

The latch assembly is out of wack obviously, once you post some pics I can probably help you out.

The actual metal ring the trunk latches onto should be adjustable via two bolts. If not, the holes on mine were drilled out to solve this same issue.

Yeah all I did was adjust it and its fine now. I thought I posted that but I just found out I hadn't haha.
