Folks,
I called Bilstein in CA yestderday, and they tell me there are no B6's stocked in the US anymore - special order from "the Fatherland" only; 90 DAYS!!!

Anyone have any positivee experience on ANY other brands for a 99 C280 Sport...don't want to lower the car to use B8's, etc... the roads around here are too bumpy and my butt is too old for them...

How about the KYB's...they show KG4729 Front and KG4728 Rear...are they simliar to the B6's?? Any comments?

Car has 140K on it so prefer not to spend a fortune, either...may get handed down

Thanks

MG

that's true, there are no more Bilstein B6's (aka Bilstein HD) anymore in the United STates. It sucks. You could order a set of 4 off German Ebay or British Ebay for $640 USD. Not such a good deal considering the shocks used to only cost about $80 each when they sold them here...

I just went with the Bilstein Touring (B4) when I needed to replace mine. They're about as stiff (slighty less) as the sport shocks that came with the "sport package" optioned cars.
