Hey all,

I'm going to respray my car to Alabaster White and there's one thing that I'm confused about.

I've done my search and came up with 3 results: 780, 960 9960.

I do know the color code 960 is the actual color, but what bothers me is what the others actually mean. In other words, but I bring my car to the paint shop next week what is the exact code I need to tell them.

Thanks

what is said on the plate on the radiator support? or the sticker on the driver door jambs? have you decoded your VIN?

well tell them 960/9960 Alabaster White then they should know what it is maybe it is the color of the trim pieces which is usually a different color than the body... n0t 100% sure on what they mean...

Have you called a Mercedes dealership? They would probably be able to tell you.

thanks for the reply guys..
yea i've been struggling to find the exact answer. i've googled it and came up with a lot of the VIN no. (side door) sticker results but still isn't sure... usually its like C960 or K960,
but then other sites give me those 3 sets of number.. then some others say 9960..

Alabaster White is listed as 960/9960 on paintscratch.com which seems to be a pretty realiable source. I would just give the shop the code 960/9960, tell them it's alabaster white and can be found on an 06 CLK for example.

With my dealership, bodyshop, running an automotive paint store experience, Alabaster is code 960

Alabaster never came on 202's it came a lot of 203's so tell them
It's alabaster white, code 960 year 2006
