Welllll.....

Sometimes before my Dad heads off to work, I meet him at McDonalds for breakfast. I always park in the same spot, and nothing ever comes of it.

However, I dunno how I did it, but I tried to be careful not to tap the cement block in the space. I thought I was far away enough from it, but I forget sometimes my car has a tendency to creep forwards a little on inclines.

When I get out, I pull my car in reverse....I realized my front bumper has mated with the cement block...and when I back out I hear a horrible scraping and I hear my bumper shatter in about 8 more places....some pieces of it ending up on the ground and the driver's side almost sagging to the pavement.

Well, I knew this day was coming when I would have to replace it....but I hoped not this soon. I need anything either pre or post facelift. I do NOT need the inner shell...that is not damaged, just the outer one.

For this I am only really looking for local members who either have anything or know of where I can pick one up that won't rape me. There is a benz junkyard in Sun Valley but their pricing is just not realistic for what they are selling. It's my hope that if anybody here in socal has one or knows where to go I can head down today, buy it and get it installed tonight or tomorrow. This weekend I have to head out of town and I have a little more pride than to cruise my 202 bumperless.

Chimchongdlight is parting out his W202. I've seen the car in person and the bumper is in good shape considering... You can start with him.
He's in NorCal so shipping is necessary.

Are you sure you don't need the inner skeleton? The top molding on the pre facelift bumper (the painted gray strip) is part of the skeleton structure which from your past pictures is broken up pretty good.

In this picture the grey portion is part of the skeleton or substructure. You can also see the outer "cover" pulling away.

Depending on what your're willing to spend the c43/c36 replica front bumpers can be found on Ebay for pretty cheap and maybe for even less on other websites. I remember seeing a C36 replica front bumper and it looked great!
