Looking at replacing my tyres guys, I intend to lower the car soon tho and don't think the stock 225 fronts and 245 rears will allow me much space, especially the fronts when lowered..

Any sizes that are commonly used instead with 7.5 & 8.5 staggered monoblocks?

Thanks...

You will be fine. I am running 225 on an 8" wide rim up front. Compared to my stock 7.5" rim and 225 tire, the 8" rim with 225 tire sticks out 11mm. No major problems. I am lowered about 2 inches.

Clarification: my 8" rim sticks out 11mm further than the 7". Still sits inside the fender, and I can full turn lock either side.

i ran 225/45/17 on square set up 1.5 inch when i had 17 inch rims..

i also ran 215/40 on a 8.5 inch rim 225/40 on a 9inch rim

currently running 225/40 on 18s which are 8.5 inch wide rims

Yeah my mates running 225/40 on a 8.5 rear and he's go 205/40 on a 7.5 front but I'm not sure if it looks like an uncomfortable ride ??? http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/r776/blackmuz/997C579F-B53A-4CF0-B657-40CD4027B2E1-6110-00000190E94430B8_zps2c7aee42.jpg
