Hi all...

I am due for a service on my car and wanted to replace the stock spark plugs from the stealership to that of a colder plug, namely the NGK BKR7E spark plug...

Any thoughts or words of wisdom fom those who have either tried these or similar plugs, alternatively whether sticking to stock is wiser?

Thanks guys...

There is alot of message board talk about sticking with stock plugs. Everyone has a different pro/con stance, and I am not technically knowledgeable to give you proper information. From my understanding gap and temperature are important factors.

I can tell you that I have been using NGK Iridiums for several years now and have mot noticed any significant changes, good or bad. I may go back to stock depending on visual analysis of the plugs.

I am also using Magnecore wires.

as far as I know. you should only use stock plugs if you have an older car from 94-97. Especially on an m104. The newer engines, allegedly, can use various newer options. But if you're running an M104, only use Bosch F8DC4
