Hey I Need some help I have been looking for a new audio system for my mercedes but on crutchfield it claims that it will fit but on another website that sells the exact same model says it won't fit so I don't know which website to believe

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_110VM9216B/Jensen-VM9216BT.html <----- says it will fit

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68711_Jensen-VM9216BT.html?SearchClickout%5Bquery_id%5D=2126412 5&SearchClickout%5BIgnore%5D=1 <----- says it won't

Would someone know which website would be wrong thanks.

if its a single din, fitment would be very easy. double din would require a lot more work.
so it appears you're good to go

Hey it's a single din ( if a din is the size of the accual unit )
Have you come across any tutorials on installation on a w202 before just so I have somewhere to start
Thanks

Not for sure of your year or model of 202. Mine is a 96 c280. I was looking at a touch screen kinda along the lines your looking at. I decided against it seeing that once the screen is open it blocks my climate control system. Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah the model Is a 98 C200 and I did realize that there would be blockage issues with certain controls but most of the time I have it on the same settings and don't really change it even if I did want to change it , just before I leave to drive somewhere I would change it to the desired settings before I tuned on the screen.
Some people may change it often though but in my case it seems to be fine the whole time.
I just hope one like this fits because it would be great to have this feature in my 202

Here's the layout of my model if anyone was wondering

You can still control those flip up screens even when they are closed
