Resonator Delete On A C230K? Opinions

Has anyone done a resonator delete with the stock muffler on a C230K? I'm thinking it would give me a bit deeper of a tone (which is what I'm looking for), but at the same time I'm not sure because it's only a 4 cylinder! What do you guys think?

It's a BIG silencer and you'll end up way too loud. I would't delete it if I were you.
On the other hand you can always try... :)

i just did a muffler delete replaced with straight pipe on my c280 and it is not loud at all. if you do a resonator delete it wont sound loud at all. they told me a resonator just reduces drone on the highway.

actualy I go home tomorrow and my dad already cut the resonater off ima put it exactly how you were talking about so I will tell you when it is done for you maby a vid and yes a 230k sport

lol this is way off from what the guy asked for. his asking for just a resonator delete and you show him your resonator delete with a magnaflow. Sounds good though reminds me of a Subaru.

yea I have to wait to get the pipe later today with all the july 4th crap here in Gettysburg makes it a cluster F#@$
150th anniversary so its crowded here

but when I started the car it scared my friend with just open headers lol waay to loud

but yes I will try to get this done today but unfortunately I cant drive it the registration went oun and I cant get it renewed till nxt month (long story )

we plan on making it deeper with borla tru duals by putting that y pipe back on

yup there both out and they are very heavy compared to a regular hi-flow cat from napa or something
I did notice there is a baffle in that y pipe thoe
I think I have a pick of the aftermath too lol looks ruf but it dosent vibrate haha XD

so my new plan is we got 2 magnaflow muflers were going to cut the spare tire well out and make that donught size only and fir both mufflers out the center (there the flare ups ) running one cat to a y pipe to the mufflers on custom hangers I shall hopefully get this done the 21st
