230 k s 4 door rear window

my rear window switches in the doors aren't working I checked all 3 fuse boxes .. nothing there all good
I know the motors are good because they work on the center switch

any ideas ? 2 bad buttons in a row seems unlikely as they used to work before my batt died one cold unfaithfull morning

p.s my memory for the auto scroll has been reset already
