I originally wanted to put in 6x9 but I decided to go with a Kenwood 5x8, because I know the sound I was getting, I used to have them in my old t-bird
I only did the rear doors and the front doors tmro but
didn't have much trouble installing the 5x8s so here is what I did

took panels off not hard once you know how :3
removed old speakers and grill behind them
hammer and fender block (I don't know the name of it forgot) stretched the hole a little
and placed the kenwoods in and screwed them down with self tapping screws there awesome btw
also I took the factory connectors and tied those in with the new speakers wires it came with
install time was about 1.5 hrs because first door was a pain as it was my first time taking them off haha

here is som picks btw
1615 1616 1617 1618 1619

like a glove lol I did have to pull the (left side of car btw ) back of the speaker where the metal opened up to push that side of the speaker out to clear the window motor

also the factory speakers sit out twards the paneling, these new ones sit flush-ish you just have to have a small hammer to bend the ring back to sit better with the metal then screw em down and the panles don't squeak still

ok so I did the front doors today they were tighter and a bit of a pain to get the paneling to sight right but I got them in and now all I have left is the deck and it sounds so much more crisp haha
