I have just a quick question about the new rims I got and spacers I will need for them. Car is a 2000 C280, rims are 17x7.5 et46 all the way around. I will be adding H&R springs before they go on and possibly without the pads. The whole offset subject is kinda like magic to me. I think I understand, but then it blows my mind again.

This is what I am thinking. I want a flush look and with the high offset of the rims I'm probably looking at least 20mm in the rear and 10mm in the front. I should clear everything and add 10mm from stock to the rear, right? Tires will also be 225/45s. I've been looking at spacers and found some hub centric with bolts for a decent price, I just need a second opinion of if I am going the right direction.

Thanks in advance

I'm really thinking 20mm back and 10mm front will do....

I ended up ordering 10s for the fronts and 20s for the back. I finally dropped my car this weekend and with the rim/tire combo I'm running now, the fronts rub just a bit. 20mm up front would for sure rub on the new kicks. Gonna do a color swap before they go on though. Pics will come soon
