C200 OEM catalytic converter-where to buy? [Archive]

Hi I have 8/1999 C200.

The previous owner fitted aftermarket cat. It sounds awful and I want it out and replaced with an OEM cat. But I'm in Australia and the stealerships want $2000 Aus.

So anyone know who the OEM supplier is, the part number and a source where to buy?

there probly charging for the whole exauhst you can buy it off ebay for 1200 us $$ but get a resonater first or cherry bom after the cat it will tone it down more

I recommend getting that front pipe with the cat from a junkyard, then getting new gaskets and hardware from the dealership.
