ok so my radio is pushing 4000 watts plus but my issue it I just replaced the battery
charges fine but when I have my radio turned up a little I get the infamous light dim

now I don't have it turned up the whole way but it shouldn't be loud enough to dim out

what im asking is without getting a cap and what I can I do increase the output of the alternator

Call your local alternator shop and buy a smaller pulley, helps it spin faster producing more amperage. Ive done this plenty of times my dad owns an alternator/starter shop over 40 years.

I've also looked at upgrading the alternator here's a part no for 115 amp Bosch alternator. A 010 154 51 02. Also read that the clk 500 which is a 150 amp might work not sure on it though. Think we currently have a 90 amp
