Hey everyone,

So i was taking apart the radio wiring when i stumbled upon this blue/bro1967wn wire with a metal clip attached to it. Anyone know where it goes or what it does?

Im also wondering about how to bypass the bose amp. Im going to be upgrading speakers. Ive done every search and still seem to not have a direct answer on which wires i can connect together without rewiring the whole car.

-I guess you can say i still need my hand held...

Thanks guys!

That wire with the metal clip attaches to the rear of the radio, if you look there is a spade on the back, Whats wrong with the stock bose speakers? You would have to rewire the vehicle for aftermarket speakers if you want to bypass the amp.

I have an aftermarket headunit installed but i think the amp is dying or died as of today. It always had a scratchy/static noise that would blast once every so often. If i have an aftermarket headunit, is this plug still necessary?

That plug is part of the anti-theft system. Its not needed.
