SRS light on !!!

SRS light is on in my new to me 1998 C43. The code came back 033 side airbag sensor (A54) ???
Anyone have any experience with this???

Side impact sensor under the carpet (under seat) probably has corrosion on the connector.

Airbag impact sensor under the carpet under the seat, looked like something spilled down there. $500 at the dealer, but I found a used one on ebay for $40 different car but same part number worked fine!
