I apologize if this has been answered but I need clarification on spring pads.

I have sourced my lowering springs and sport shocks but I can't seem to get a clear answer on spring pads.

What size do I need for a functional drop? Can I use the spring pads that came on the car? And if not where can I buy spring pads?

The car is a 1999 c280 non sport. Springs are H&R shocks are bilstein.

Thanks

If the pads are already are not worn out then you can still reuse them .... And if not you an just get them from the dealer ....size depends on the drop your looking for ....my car has 3 tits rear and 2 tit in the front

What is a good size to use?

it depends on you... it is just pretty much an insulation so your spring and the top of the spring perch are not metal to metal... ideally,, people who lower cars get the thinnest ones available... i believe i saw somewhere its 5 bucks a pop...

I'd like to avoid rubbing issues.

Also people generally run thicker in the front right?
