sounds sick! a bit loud but thats hard for me to tell from a video. I will install a supersprint muffler and do a resonator delete on my C36 I wonder how it will sound.

It is a bit loud but yours wont be as loud if you keep the catalytic converter on. Plus mine is mounted at the bumper with maybe a 3 inch long tip :)

Mine is LOUD this is hush lol ;p if you switch from 2.25 to a 3in pipe down the center it will deepen it then throw a 3in cherry bom before the muffler that should take the rasp out while making it deeper

a larger pipe will give you a deeper tone and my 230 sounds like a Subaru sti lol all I need is a slightly heavier cam and im a Subaru XD

also the cherry bomb will take that rasp out my friend has a 91 v6 bird (raspy car ) it pretty much took care of it

I was thinking about a resonator to see if that would work....when I get a chance I will get some WOT video mine really is a bit louder lol honda........my brother in law knows when im at the stop sign over 200' away. If not for that rasp tho it would be great although at cruising speed the rasp is gone 100% till I give it more throttle then its back with a vengeance lol

That doesn't sound bad I just meant for flow (and I've spent way too much time in Orlando with their Hondas) I have a header with full 2.5" custom setup and mandrel bends, sounds beautiful

Im starting to wonder if its just loose I tightened the mount at the tranny and that rasp is not as loud now not to mention the flowmaster is at the bumper with no tailpipe lol but in person mine sounds in no way like a honda I have been asked alot lately if its got a v8 in it while doing about 55 it sounds like the chevelle my bro in law used to have, but that damn rasp kills me lol

only way to truly hear a exauhst clip is if you have it playing thru a sterio with bass ;) try mine with some subs behind it lol it will shock you haha XD
the pik didn't load :( (my friends bird is a v6 he has the dyno maxx kit from autozone sounds rly good going down the road but reving it his sounds raspy as hell lol )

I know my header gasket needs replaced I have the factory tube but I may buy a new one for cheap and hulk it or save my pennies for the long tube headers

OH!! one more thing my jeep 4.0 straight 6 had that same set up lol ;P so I know what you mean

Yeah I wasnt planning on using the super star lol but my welding sucked lol when I find some more grill frames im going to make some more and powder coat them and see what I can get for them, with no star.

you could get fine mesh chicken wire cut the current stuff out and glue / plastic weld the mesh in its place

I checkd that first and it wast strong enough the expanded metal thats on it now is 13 gauge. Now I know where to get it thats wide enough and I wont have to weld it together. Will just have to tack weld it in place.

Lol. My gloss black vinyl wrap came in today! ! Finally gonna have a shiny top lol and then soon the gray strip and upper chrome will be black. Probably go out tomorrow and get either a cherry bomb or a resonator, I wonder if moving the muffler towards the front of the car if that will take away the rasp?

Muffler not so much as hi flow cat or resonator/cherrybomb would
the tone comes from pulses and once the tone hits a recurring pitch it gets louder and metallic pinging
aka rasp one of the 3 disrupts that flow in some way or try shoving soapless brillow pads in the muffler

Ended up getting a "turbo" muffler to add before the flowmaster it looks just like a walker resonator but its not. It sounds pretty good too much quieter inside the car and theres 0 drone to it in fact at around 65 an 70 you cant hear the exhaust till you give it gas or let off the gas. I will try yo get some video pretty soon of it.
