I recently installed some blue LED lights in the gauge cluster of my 1999 c280. The installation was for the most part a success however the last portion of the speedometer and the first portion of the rpm gauge aren't fully illuminated, though the bulbs appear to be making contact...Also the outside temperature gauge bulb wen't out and I need to refasten it.

I followed a guide by fupabox on youtube but on his car (a 97 c230) he had a few larger LED bulbs called t10s...I ordered t10s but didn't see anywhere to install them on my gauge cluster, only small bulbs that I replaced with t5s...I'm wondering if I missed something? Are the needles supposed to be illuminated by the t10 bulbs?

I can pop the cluster out again tomorrow and snap a picture for reference if that helps. In the mean time any input is appreciated.

My dash also don't have t10s, so I think its normal. I also tried that swap but mine was even worse then yours so I just put yellow ones back.

Yeah I took another look at it and there is no room for t10 bulbs.

I did manage to get good contact on all of the bulbs except the outside temp bulb.

The rest look fine I just wish they were brighter. Oh well I can always swap them back.
