I was getting an oil change and found this little part on my splash guard ,not sure what this is ,if anyone can tell me what it is ,I would really appreciate it.

the upper radiator hose on my car has one of those on it. My best guess is that its to keep the hose in place when the engine revs and when you go over bumps or anything that causes the smaller overflow hose to bounce up and down which in time would cause a hole if it were rubbing against something....? i could be wrong

It fits on the power steering pipe to prevent rubbing against the belt. Will try and get a picture of mine on the car tomorrow.
