C43 Driver side window issue

Hi all :)

Ive never used the driver side power window since ive had this car, so no idea if it just started when i disconnected the battery last week or not.

The window goes up and down perfectly, but not on its own like the other 3 do. Going down, stages 1 and 2 on the switch drive it down, but you need to hold it all the way.

Going up, only stage one on the switch works, pushing to stage two stops the window, need to completely release the switch then press again.

The other 3 windows work fine for stages one and two in both directions, and stage two causes automatic operation to the top or bottom.

The mirrors both work fine. So does the sunroof and the power seats.

Is this likely to be a faulty window switch or something else?

How do i do that?

Run the window all the way up and down several times using only the first click of the switch, that should teach the window where the stopping points are when you press down to the second click of the switch (auto)

That sorted it out thanks mate ;) It took ten goes before it worked though.
