Today, at 113,000 miles, I did a tranny flush. The tranny oil was black as I expected. After draining the fluid, I checked the magnet and found no shavings (whew!). I bought 6 qts but only used up 4. I don't know why but the dipstick says its full. Anyway, after doing this, I noticed my shifter doesn't have play anymore(it has a little play when you wiggle it.) it feels like its new and shifts a lot smoother now.
Definitely recommend doing this.... Also, don't forget to buy the tranny solenoid. This one leaks inside your car so might as well change. Very cheap part from autohausaz.

Did you take the measurments with engine running and at correct temperatures?

The part that commonly leaks on these trans's is the pilot push where the electrical connector plugs into the conductor plate(might have this confused with a solinoid?)
