Okay, so I love LED lighting, but I hate using load resistors, to me it defeats the point of the efficiency of LED lighting. I also just hate the added complication of adding load resistors to all the lights. Anyway, this process is simple in theory, but I'm going to show you how.
First you need to buy a Solid State LED flasher relay. I purchased an Optronics from O'Reilly's Autoparts.

Then I took apart the "multifunction relay" found that the center relay is responsible for blinkers/hazard. So I cut the pins associated with that relay on the Multifunction relay box

Here's how I did it. I tinned the tips of the Red and Green wires with solder this allowed me to use them as Pins to insert into the plug. The black wire is a ground and has to share the ground pin with the rest of the relay box. So I just inserted bare wires into the hole and let the pin on the Multifunction relay box act as a clamp.

I ran some electrical tape around the multifunction relay to keep it from contacting the wires of the new LED flasher realy.

Put it all back together and viola, you have a solid state LED flasher that doesn't need load resistors and won't fast blink.
